Three Point Belts

I did it 10+ years ago when I restored my Pacemaker Coupe. I used a kit from www.Julianos.com. Great instructions and a 800 number for questions. It was a rather easy instillation as I recall.0

I put 3 point belts in my 53 4-door.I had a welder reinforce the B-pillar for the shoulder attachment point.Had to cut a hole in the pillar upholstery cover. Then we tacked heavy steel reenforcement plates under the floor on the outside of the floorboards. The 2 floor points were then through bolted and all bolts used are #8.Luckily I have not had to test the setup--but all who have checked it out say it seems as safe as it can be.I bought my belts at andover restraints--they have an online catalog and have vintage styles to choose from.I plan on doing the same in my 53 coupe project when the time comes.0

Richard, that looks like "factory"! Can we get more pictures, how high did you mount the upper attachment to the B piller?
