I hope that everyone notices that the 1940 Country Club has a Hudson factory vacuum antenna! (Right?)

No I did not notice the vacuum antennal. I had seen them listed as an option but had never seen one. It will make a good addition to the sedans restoration.

Very good looking restoration effort on the 40 PU.

The 47 PU brought back memories of my dad's Hudson PU with a camper similar to this one..

 Country Club dose have factory a vacuum antenna.

 The 1947 has a 262 with a hornet crank custom pistons w/overdrive,

and runs on either gas or propane .

Will be looking for parts in the near future.

Painting the truck with spray cans dam EPA,

changed the paint to water born little guys don't have a chance .

but it good for the earth

 Anybody know what doors ,fenders hood would work on the 47

Front doors from 46 -47 4 door car will fit if you can not find PU doors. Just have to remove the flaring at bottom of door.

46 -47 car hoods will fit PU. The original PU hood had 4 rivets filling the holes at rear where car hoods have HUDSON & SUPER SIX or COMMADOR script mounted at that location. PU's did not come with script on the hood. Commodore hood side trim is different but have seen Commodore hoods on PUs.

46-47 front car fenders will fit, but they are indented at lower rear to clear the flares on lower part of cars cowl. A good fabricator can fix that. Some people use them as is on PU.

Rear fenders are specific to PU. Rear car fenders have been installed but require a lot of work to fit the PU bed sides and the wheel wells are not round.

Some earlier car doors will work but they harder to find.

Where are you located? Maybe someone near you may have what you need.
