Planning on going. It's about 3 1/2 hours from me. Bill used to bring one of his cars to our AACA region's show each year. Always enjoyed seeing him.

For those who may need to know:   This auction is about the selling of several 32 Essex Terraplanes in very decent shape.   Most of the extra parts Bill had were for those cars so if anyone has any ideas about a huge stash of other  parts-forget it. The cars as I said are in very decent shape and would  turn out nicely with minor resto work. There is also a 35 Terraplane sedan which at this point has no title although that is being worked out. The 51 Commodore is presentable and would make a good candidate for preserving. The stepdown parts cars are ROUGH. I mean ROUGH. Likely they could bring more in scrap than in parts. I told Rod to have the auctioneer consider that having someone pay  for hauling will kill any ideas of high value when it came time to auction. There are about 4-5 stepdowns. One of which is a 54 coupe. Extra stepdown parts are few. There are several engines for sale. 2 Jet engines and a couple of 8cyl blocks. A number of AMC cars ( Pacers nice shape) and a Cadillac.. This is really a car auction -not many  parts to speak of.

Heads up to those going: the auctioneer has backed the start time up an hour (starting at 10 instead of 9) and he said he has no idea right now as to what order he's going to run the items through "first auction I've done where my hands have been tied so much by the contract" whatever that means...
