46 hudson PU horn

I found a 2 air horn setup in the bed of the truck I bought.  FIAMM is the brand.... Is this original.? I see the horn is made in Italy????

    Air horns were not a Hudson option on the PU.

    My Father had two foot long chrome big rig truck air horns mounted on each side of his 46 PU. I barely had my drivers license and had some fun with them. When I would be driving parallel to rail road tracks and see kids walking on the rails I would blow those air horns like a train and get a laugh watching them scatter. At other times following some slow moving car in the fast lane on the freeway, they quickly changed lanes when they heard the blast from those horns.

    I don't recommend mounting them on the hood but if you find a place to mount them and put them to use you will definitely get some ones attention. Hopefully not the law.
