Paint colors standard for 1946

Where do I find a list of paint codes for 46? Specifically those offered on the trucks.  Do the numbers match to any sort of colors available today? or is if just a close guess?

Hello pivotpro,

The three colors listed for the 1946 Hudson Cab Pick-Up were Black (K), Gun Metal (G) and Bar Harbor Blue (B).  The paint code (K, G or was stamped on the upper passenger door hinge.  

I haven't seen a listing for 1946 wheel colors for the trucks, but in 1947 they were cream wheels with the black and blue colors, and red wheels for the gun metal color.  However, one could get either red or cream wheels with any of the three truck colors as a no-charge option.

Note that this information comes from 1946 and 1947 Hudson sales literature.
