I sold mine for $85 3 years ago !0

In that condition I'd say that is a super premium price

$700.00 probably would be on the high side judging from the condition in the picture. I gather it's double sided and more than likely the best side is on display, but check the opposite side nonetheless if you haven't already. Nice thing about this Hudson Service (late 1930's?) sign is that it doesn't appear too big to hang on the wall in a garage or perhaps even on the wall of a "man cave." Good luck negotiating a price if you decide you want it!
Hope to see many of you at Colorado Springs in a couple of days and everyone going there have a safe and enjoyable journey to and from this highly anticipated annual Hudson event!

Its a fair asking price. The vendor is rare that won't come down 10-20%. 305 years from now this will look pretty cheap. They ain't makin' any more original porcelain signs.

He already came down from $800. I offered $550.0

Well if I put my American Pickers hat on I'd say if he came down from $800 to $700 and you were at $550 then try and split the difference at $625
That said it's a nice sign and based on my limited experience of what these sort of fetch (purely by watching American Pickers!) and you want it then $700 is not a bad price given the overall condition of it
