Mystery Bumper Guards

I came across these in a lot of parts I bought a couple years ago.. They appear to be either NOS or replated. They have some little shelf wear, but are really nice. The bumper contour is the same as 46-47 but the carriage bolt mounting is strange to me.. Pickup truck?

Dave,   I have seen that type on 1942's , not sure of model or placement.
