Actually, to be rather specific, the battery cable runs from the the negative terminal on the battery, to the starter solenoid terminal. The ground strap runs from the positive battery terminal to either the frame, or some part of the engine (like the generator clamp bolt). Then, a separate ground strap runs from the transmission or bell housing, to the nearby cross frame member. Thus: two ground straps, one for body, one for engine.

Hi Jon have the one from the bell housing done just putting on a elec. fuel pump for priming .Not ready to do the wiring yet but thanks0
