What Thermostat?

J I am using a 160 degree modern thermostat with a 1/8" hold drilled in it. I have also modified the thermostat housing with a metal cup seal in the bypass hole. The metal cup is pressed in. Before inserting the metal seal drill a 1/8" hole in it. These two modifications made to direct the water back through the radiator versus bypassing and circulating mostly within the engine. Works for me.0

I still favor this one {on the left} over the restricted one. With the bypass blocked or the 0.030" hole in a SS freeze plug. Open area is approx. 4 times a normal thermostat !! www.jegs.com note photo on Jegs site is not photo of the #4366.
