jet lag

The last three times I have driven my jet, when I start out in first gear, after a few feet, the car comes to a screeching stop like I slammed on the brakes. ,

When I go a short distance, it happens again. After awhile, it seems to be ok. Any ideas?

Brake adjustment ... The brake shoes are grabbing due to either warped drums or the shoe springs allowing the shoes to shift. I would bet on the first.
