Since we are on the fuel gauge subject
My fuel gauge on the '56 reads half a tank when full, empty when there is half a tank. Any ideas or suggestions?

Resistance between the rheostat and the terminal wiil cause this0

Fairly new unit. Did this as soon as tank was boiled out, and new sending unit put on.0

Would a bad ground from the unit cause this also?
