Hi everyone,
Recently purchased a new radiator for our '54 Hornet and I would like to install a coolant recovery tank. Any suggestions or preferences about what you like; aluminum, stainless, brands, etc? Thanks.

just go to auto parts store and get the plastic one. Believe you have to have the round thin rubber gasket that goes in the radiator cap for this to work, if my memory serves me, and it hasn't been lately. I mounted mine on the rt side as shown.

Thanks Richard. I have used the universal plastic tanks before but in this case I was thinking about a metal tank. Anyone with a recommendation for one of those? Thanks.Tim in WI0

Much easier to check the level with a plastic one.0

My recommendation, buy the one you like best. They all do the same job.

Empty bottle of Jack Daniels? Maybe that's just me...0

Thanks guys. I'll start the search but I think I'll leave the bottle of Jack for the windshield washers...after I've thoroughly tested the contents for quality.Tim0
