Rotor button removal
I've developed a miss in my 262 that the Pertronix tech rep tells me may be due to the round disc having lost a magnet. He suggested I take the disc out, turn it a few notches, and put it back on. If the miss moves to another cylinder, then it needs to be replaced. The problem is I can't get the rotor button off the distributor shaft. I thought that it just set down on the shaft and would be easy to just lift off. No such luck. Is there a set screw that holds it on that I've forgotten about? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I took a screwdriver and pried on it for a little bit. It eventually came off but it acted like it had been lightly glued on the shaft. I guess it got hot and thus made it difficult to remove....0
