Heidi's route through Florida

AACA web site just published a short story of Heidi's venture.  It states that she intends to drive South through Florida..

Does anyone have the exact route and projected time she will be driving through? Since we live within a short distance to either I-95 and US-1, it would be fun to drive our Hudson along with her for a distance.. not to mention offering any assistance..

Dave, according to Jon Battle, she's making an overnight stop in Wilmington.

Dave, I will do my best to learn Heidi's route south, when we see her at the Hershey car show next week.  The following week after Hershey she will be in the Washington DC area, followed by Wilmington, NC.  It is hard to predict her exact "times" because all she needs is a major mechanical problem and the whole schedule is thrown into disarray.  For example, she had to cross Chicago and Indianapolis on her list 'cause she was running so late.  Now, she'll be hopping from Florida directly to South America, which wasn't on the original plan.

Dave, would you be the "contact person" for the Orange Blossom Chapter, if I need to get word of her plans to that group?  Or can you refer me to someone down there?

Sent you an e-mail with some of the cities she'll hit in Florida, Dave.
  • She seems to be enjoying the sites and roads in New York. Quite brave driving thru Times Square, etc Wonder how many Americans would be brave to take their vintage car and photo it against grand central station etc - go Heidi check out her Instagram
  • It was our pleasure to have Heidi as an overnight guest in our Lake Wales Florida home last Nov.20. She had called from the Orlando airport & needed a place to stay. Naturally we were thrilled to hear from her & so 2 hours later she was knocking on our door. The next day we had several members of our Orange Blossom Hudson chapter join us for lunch. She even helped Bob work on his Hudson fuel pump. What a gal! Ruth even got a ride to town in Hudo. We will always remember that very special lady and her visit with us. R&BHarbrecht
