There is a brief mention of it in the calendar on the H-E-T website: http://www.hetclub.org/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=508
There's no info. on times, nor is there a contact person listed, but maybe if you look around you could find the name and number of the chapter president and call that person. I think that's the Smoky Mountain Heartland chapter.

On the other hand, you maybe able to locate another motel that is close by, and I have found many times at a lesser rate with a more modern, roomier facility. Get on the internet - you'll be able to find something.

Guys, the meet starts on the 22nd. I will call the hotel and find out what's going on with rooms. Our chapter has had another rough year, we lost a few long time members including Bob Hixon (used to be very active on this forum) and more recently Lloyd Whedbee.
The meet is on as usual, with Golden Corral dinner Friday night as well as the Low Country Boil Saturday. Last year the weather was perfect and we're hoping for the same this year.
Thanks,

I spoke with the hotel manager today, they are indeed full. Pigeon Forge is very busy this time of year with lots of events every weekend. There are plenty of hotels in the area, the hotel gas a wait list for cancellations which is pretty short right now. Let me know if I can help making calls, I certainly let yiu know if I hear of a cancelation.
Hope to see you next week!

Thanks Matt. I have a room just up the street at Days Inn. I like staying at VC because that makes things more convenient. You mentioned in a previous post about members. Have you heard anything of Mr. Bob Terry of Johnson City? I tried calling him last mo. and got no answer and no return call. Thanks again. LHud0

I know Bob T is not doing well, but I'm hoping to see him there. If he has his way he will make it, but he's not very mobile these days.0

Thanks Matt. Glad to hear that Bob is doing ok. I always like talking to him at PF. He was not very mobile last year. Our conversations were short but enjoyable. Thanks again. LHud0
