1949 Hood emblem

I have a NOS 1949 Hudson hood emblem still in it's package. Will it fit 46 & 47 Hudson hood?

    No it will not  Lee. The 48 hood had a curvature to it and the hood emblem was contoured to fit that . The 46-47 was located on a flat part of the hood and so consequently they won't interchange (without a lot of mods!)

    Thanks for the information Lance. To bad, I have a 47 PU I thought about putting it on.
