Dash color, 1952 for woodgrain base

Blue interiors had a blue/grayish base color under the woodgrain pattern.  The Southern Blue is similar in that fashion, I wasn't sure if that was the same color that was used.  Anyway if somebody has been there and done that, curious what color you chose.  Thanks.

Check with these folks.  Apparently they have the correct patterns for many makes and models.

Yep, they're the ones I bought the kit from ('leather' pattern).

In 52, there were two different base colors (under the woodgrain), brown and blue.  My interior is blue, so it would have had the blue base color.  Just want to nail down that base color.

All the samples Grain-it had were brown.  Another 52 I have access to is brown.  Hoping someone with knowledge of the blue would chime in.

Steve,  Try looking at the back side pf the upper wide door trim. This usually had just the base color applied.

One of these could be scanned by your local paint supplier and paint custom mixed.

    Just a thought.
