HI, was a member long time ago and life got in the way so my Commodore got set aside.  The time has come to have another look at it.  So, what I would like to know is, are all the 41/47 seats and door panels the same size?  Mine are all gone...long sad story, but I need seats and panels??  I am pretty sure it is a 17Series.  thnks,, Alex Jackson

    You might want to mention your whereabouts, Alex.  There's always a possibility that someone with some salvaged 1941 parts lives not far from you, and they might be more likely to pipe up if they knew you were nearby.  (The prospect of crating and shipping large items across the country, sometimes causes people to stay quiet.  If they knew you were able to drive over and pick up the stuff, they might be more apt to offer it for sale.)

    Your' right and I am not exactly in the midst of Hudson Country, but I know where there are three or four sedans of that vintage but not sure the seats and panels are the same & the owners not sure either. regards, Alex Jackson, Peterborough, ON CA

    The seats and door panels will all interchange between the years provided you match the body.  However, the upholstery material and design will be different.
