- Up for sale is my 1955 Hudson Hornet with the 308 flathead 6, the engine that championed the early years of NASCAR. For her age, she is a great running car. I have all receipts for work done by myself and previous owners (quite a thick folder). I have quite a few spare parts that will convey with the car to include hood ornament, tail light lenses, chrome trim, rocker panels, hood, bumper and engine parts. The paint is not very old and the engine is in good shape (it will need a valve alignment and I can recommend a place). Please call for more information. Thanks for looking!

Nice looking '55, sharp colors! The best looking of the post-stepdown Hudsons IMO.0

OK just a question, how do yo adjust the valves on a 308 in a 55 Hash bodied car? I know the '56 had hydraulic lifters that eliminated the need for constant adjustment.0

Put the car on lift drop the engine put bottom - adjust valves and reinstall engine.0
