I have a 308 in pieces.  The block is # 7278675.  Can someone tell me the year of this engine and vaue.  he head is from a 232.

    Hi  What is the casting # and casting date code ?? These are found on the crankcase below the distributor.

    304539  is for 1951-52-53.  310111 is 1954.  532500 is for 1955 &  56.
