A thought occurred to me......

Why not put the speedometer in the glove box, tach in the speedo hole.

Wife is only one in the car that cares about the speedometer!

Actually Dave, that's a thought I had as well.  Dakota Digital makes some nice gauges that would 'fit right in', in that respect (warning - they're not cheap...) -
