Miscellaneous Internet Wanderings: Pre-War Hudson Photos

This is why I waste so much time on the internet.

Here are some photos shamelessly snatched from various websites.  No common themes except all the cars 1) are of the 1920's and 1930's, and 2) I had never seen these shots before.  Anyone got any other seldom-seen snaps of pre-War Hudsons taken during the era?

Way out of place in today's pre-war discussion but I couldn't resist.  Taken in New York City, December, 1947.  Shorpy.

San Francisco again, but in 1930.  And a new Great Eight!  Shorpy.

A bit early for our time period, but what the hey!  Here's a 100-mile economy run in Princeton, Ill. in 1910, starring three new Hudsons.  From The Old Motor.

Wow.  Bummer.  Most of the photos wouldn't post, so I went back and laboriously inserted links to the photos and now they don't even work.  Okay, it's 2:19 AM and I'm hitting the hay.  What a waste of time.

When images are posted to websites with code that IDs that it's posted to another location the website blocks the linkage. Most advanced web masters embed code within the pictures pixels to assure even those who clip the image from a site, it will not display or only short times.

Aha!  Mystery solved, I guess.  Never knew that.  Thanks!
