1925 super Six prop shaft

The Uj's have become very worn and I have tried through various international route to obtain replacements. As yet to no avail. I was wondering whether to obtain an off the shelf one and make new drive plates for the gearbox and back axle ends.

Has anyone had experience in doing something like this? UK

I understand some members have transplanted Land Rover U-joints on to the  early drive shafts.
