LED bulbs

Does anyone know of a 6volt LED bulb that would fit in the rear tail light housing of Hudsons? The original 1154 is not bright enough in daylight. Want to keep it 6volt!

ALSO watch polarity; most all will not work with '+' ground. I bought 2 expensive ones to install in my Healey with 12V positive ground years ago and still have them uninstalled !!

Looks like more + ground bulbs are being made>>>   https://www.google.com/#q=6+volt+positive+ground+led+1154+bulbs

What are the conditions within the light housing?  Generally, if you paint the interior white, you will reflect some of the light out the red glass instead of having it swallowed up as in a black hole.  In my car (a '37), with a round taillight, a Hudson friend gave me some heavy duty reflectors from flashlights, whose center holes fit right around the existing sockets and bulbs.  This focuses the light back out through the glass, and brightens things up wonderfully.

Doing this for John Fromm, as his rear taillights on his jet are not bright enough.

Thanks for the lead, but shipping from OZ and the money difference, would make it cost prohibitive.

They have a dealer in the U.S.:  Little British Car Co., http://www.lbcarco.com/

L.B.C.C. may not necessarily stock all the items made by Classic & Vintage, but you could ask.  They DO stock the 6 volt halogen headlights.

In addition, the owner of C & V comes to Hershey every year and sells direct.

Jon, the trouble is the '41 and later critters have nothing behind the bulb to use as a reflector.  But I'll bet someone out there has figured out how to create a reflector that does some good.

Also, Kanter has a little division that sells nothing but bulbs. I have bought halogen bulbs for 3 of my Hudsons. They might have LEDs by now
