1939 Hudson cars.
Well we saved what was left of two 1939 Hudson cars today but I think we were about 40 years too late. The were advertised as follows. One car is quite rusty and the other has surface rust. What do you think!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Trevor NewZealand

I think the description was possibly 40 years out as wellGood job Trevor; I also think I want the boot (trunk) lib for my 112!It looks as if there might some salvageable bits between the two; I can see on the bumpers that there are bits I'd like to have.I really must see if my wife wants to emigrate ....0

Yep there are a lot of parts that are worth salvaging before being scrapped. I have not got a 39 but a lot of the mechanical parts will fit. The boot lids a rusty bat the bright work is still in one piece even the number plate light lenses are still in on piece.

What is that sport pickup?0

"Ran when parked"!0

I assume you are referring to the smaller pick up of the two. It is a mid 90s Holden. It has a factory V8 and made in Australia. Getting quite thin on the ground here now. This particular UTE (We call them UTES here) is very tidy and original. And to you Geoff I don't think either of them ran when parked.

Thanks Trevor- nice Holden0

A Bit much for me Alistair but I thought Geoff might be interested. Actually a lot of it has already gone to the crusher we are only keeping the useful parts. These were the ones that were advertised in our last magazine as having surface rust0
