35H small firewall bracket

A minor mystery, there is this small bracket on the firewall of my 35H project which I can't see a use for on my RHD version. Is the bracket something to do with the accelerator linkage on LHD cars?

    That's the hydrosolator  actuating bracket.

Thanks Geoff. I hadn't noticed a reference to the hydrosolator actuator in the manual, I'll have another read.

Never seen it before Bob, was not on either my 34 or 35 Hudson's. Don't think it anything important, is you car a Ruskin or Hudson body.??

Its an Australian and presumably a Ruskin body Les.

I should add though for US viewers that the rolling chassis did come from the US with complete with cowl/firewall.
