What does the BVV stand for on a 88107-bvv? And is the same as a 88107 without the bvv? Can't find any info on the web about it. Btw its the center driveshaft support bearing.
Thanks,
Ray

Just updating this post for those folks that might order the wrong part like I did. I ordered the 88107 for my '50 commodore and it should have been 88506.'48-'52 All Exc Pacemaker and Wasp use #88506
'50-'52 Pacemaker and Wasp use #88107
'53-'54 All Exc Jet use #881070 -
?
Hmmmm. The Jet doesn't have a center support bearing. Maybe the outfit that spec'd it didn't realize that detail.

it could be that the 'Exc Jet' is supposed to be interpreted as the Jet not requiring one but I agree, it makes it seem like the Jet requires a 'different' one rather than none at all. I had pulled the information from a different thread on the subject and just wanted to share in case someone, like me, came across this one and assumed the 88107 would fit all stepdowns.0

Oooops! I just mis-interpreted what I saw. Brain fart.

Are you kidding? It probably does but I don't remember.
The obvious error in my screw-up is that "'Exc. '53, '54 Jet" is just about the most common phrase in our hobby.
