262 engine and trans for sale

Im selling the motor and trans from my 51 hudson. It ran when i pulled it a few months ago, but sputtered a bit. Probably needs carb rebuild. Trans and clutch worked perfectly. Milage unknown. $400 imageimage

    I'm guessing that you'll be able to sell it here on the Forum with no problems, but if you don't sell it soon, you might consider listing it in the WTN, which probably has a bigger audience than the forum.  April 1 is the ad deadline for the next issue.

    So its an overdrive box and do you have any history on the motor.

    Excuse my ignorance, but would this trans bolt onto a 51 308 block?
    And if So, are you willing to drop the whole thing off at a local (to you) freight depot for shipping?
    They can palletize and strap it down for shipping. I can handle the freight and payment on this end.
