1941short bed truck lenth

Would anyone with a short bed 1941 truck mind giving me the total length of the bed. One end of the round top rail to the other end of the round top rail will give me what I need. Thanks.

Dunno, but the big boy is 93 inches load length and they added 8 1/2 inches to the frame. so it's gotta be close to 84 1/2..but it's a guess.

I just went out a measured my '42 short bed, and it was 84-5/16". It is straight too. In the 1940-1942 Hudson Master Group Parts Book it lists the 10C-20C or '41-42 short bed cab pickup having part # C 147700 for the pickup box assembly. So the measurement of my '42 should be the same as the '41. I hope this helps. If anyone has measurements of an actual '41 short box, it would be nice to have the confirmation that they were the same in both years.
