Restaurant Recommendations, Carlisle, Pa.?

Every October on the Saturday evening of the Hershey car show, Hudson enthusiasts gather in Carlisle, Pa. to socialize over dinner at a restaurant.  Last year for the first time, we gathered at Rillo's Restaurant, where we were given a banquet room, and where we enjoyed a wonderful dinner.

Sadly, Rillo's closed yesterday, for good.

If anyone is acquainted with the area around Carlisle and Middlesex, Pa., and could recommend a good restaurant (not overly expensive, but with good food....and a banquet room that will seat at least 40!), would they please contact me?  I'd be grateful!

  • Jon, The Middlesex Diner on rt.11 has a side room, and very good reasonable food. Right near the rt.81 exit. Ed Moore

Hoss' is still available, the prices are reasonable and they give us a room. A perfectly good place.  However, Rillo's was such a step up in terms of food, atmosphere and elbow room (not to mention the availability of cocktails) that I would just like make sure that there's nothing else comparable that's available (now that Rillo's is gone) before we settle on Hoss' again.
