New to Hudsons
I just bought 3 Hudsons 1948 4 dr flat 6, 56 v8 4 dr Hornet, 56 v8 Hornet Hollywood 2 dr hardtop. All in Calif. Saved them all from the scrapers . I know the Hollywood is a rare bird, any idea what its worth. These cars are 98 percent complete not running, looks like they were shut off batterys removed and parked for 30 years all have titles .

Welcome to the forum!
You don't mention whether you plan to keep any of these, or simply sell them all. If you want some idea of what they might be worth, perhaps you could publish some photos here, or give a more detailed description of the cars. One way to get an idea of value, is to check out current Ebay auctions (and see what they actually SOLD for), and check a marketplace like Hemmings Motor News (of course they only state the ASKING price, not what the car actually sold for).

56 trans is in the trunk, Side mirrors are missing they were on the front piller post not on the fender. both sides looks to be adjustable from in side the car. Anyone seen this type before? Hollywood scripts both sides are missing both tail light lens broke.0

more pictures.. Any info would help! Side mirrors holes are strange the other 56 4 door has them on the fender this car has no holes in the fender..0

Based on what you are saying the 48 4-door is worth just under $1,000. The 56 Hollywood seems to be rust free and would be valued at around the same amount. The other 56 just a bit less.... Not highly sought after but the strong point is that they are really great cars. Now the next question is "What do you plan to do with them?" The 56 Hornet Custom with a high point restoration might be bring just over $22K.0

The holes in the windshield trim may have been for a spotlight, not a rearview mirror. If for a spotlight, then there would have been mating holes through the inside trim as well.

Not sure yet I have several cars in different stages of completion. Iv'e only had these 3 for 5 days ! I guess I'll hunt around the web to find out how many of each were built. I have a 61 Rambler American convertible that is finished.I'm not in a hurry to do anything right now. Just looking for information. The side mirrors on the Hollywood seem to be puzzling to me, maybe it had spotlights on both sides.0

Alex Burr's info on the HET website can give you the quantity built if available

Back to the outside mirror location. their are no holes where the mirror would have been mounted ; on the fender or the door! The car has not been painted or any holes filled. This had to be a factory installed spotlight with a mirror on the back side I assume. It's the same on both sides of the car ( drivers and passenger side). There are holes that go through to the inside of the car for the shaft to go through.I was hoping someone had a book that showed this. Thanks for the help0
