Has anyone lifted a stepdown with a Max Jack

I have serious headroom limitations in my garage. In Seattle, you take what you can get garage-wise. As a result, I have a max jack (http://www.maxjaxusa.com/) as seen on Jay Leno's garage-youtube it yourself. The thing works great for my MGB but my Hornet is a bit bigger.

 I have concerns that the arms may not have enough reach to get to the front and back frame rails. In order to really mess with it, I'll have to pull the towers off the floor and remount them in a whole new place. Before I get too serious about it, has anyone lifting a stepdown with one of these?
