shim body for door alignment

You probably need to "spring" the door at the hinge to bring the top edge up, and the waist moulding in line, then adjust the dove-tails for the proper support and alignment. Put a piece of wood or strip steel between the hinge and the door at the bottom, close the door and push at the top so you spring the door upwards. Keep an eye on the clearance at the front at the same time. Sounds brutal, but there is no other way of counter-acting the action of 88 years of gravity. Good luck,Geoff0

Geoff, Thanks for the tip on door alignment, however, both my front door are contacting the upper front edge near the "A" pillar. How do I go about dropping the door down in that area ?
Thanks, Sach.

Sach, you will have to remove the hinge, and crimp the edges together to move the door backwards. The hinge has obviously bee sprung too far at some stage.0
