Source for pickup truck Bed Slates
I'm rebuilding a 47 pickup and will be doing the wood bed. I need the metal slates. I find a lot on the internet but they are mainly for Chevy or Ford and they look like they are pre drilled. I worry about the spacing then if it would match up. Any idea where to find ones that would with Hudson?

I bought the bed strips without holes. used one of my old strips for a pattern and had a local sheet metal shop punch the holes. Make sure to buy strips long enough! Mine had to be cut a bit, again using the old strip as apattern.Hope this helps."Ric"0

I got mine from John Pruitt @trucks usa 864-227-6220 he is great to work with. I used S/S strips with hidden fasteners. He cut to what ever length you want. Ron0

FYI
www.mar-k.com will have everything you need. They have polished or bare strips and you tell them where to punch the holes for your crossmembers....

"Wood n Parts" from MN I believe. Sent them the Hudson pattern off my 47 truck years ago and they made stainless strips for me. Pretty inexpensive0
