Salvation for hard to find Essex parts and information

   Hello everyone,

   I have been searching for a long time to find a site that has ample references for parts and information about the Essex Super Six.  I purchased my 1928 Super Six  ten years ago and have been working on it off and on since then, time and money being the hold back. I find your members to be very out going and helpful to all that make requests. I live in Southwest Viginia USA and have been retired for about ten years now. I hope to make good use of this site as a new member.

Welcome, Sach.  Our long-time forum resident, Geoff, uses a '28 Essex as his daily driver, and there is very little he doesn't know.  So, "fire away" with the questions.  As you may already know, there are a couple of Hudson club chapters in Virginia; the one nearest you is the Dogwood Chapter.  Possibly someone in that chapter owns a '28 and could give you some help / advice.  (Our chapter, the Chesapeake Bay Chapter, does not have any '28's in it, though one of our members owns a couple '29's.)
