If towing a considerable distance I would recommend removing the drive shaft.Geoff0

If it is a Jet, you will lose some transmission oil with the drive shaft out, but that is better than wearing out the needle rollers and output shaft, etc.0

Tow it so the front wheels are on the ground, not the rears. Tie the steering wheel tight to the door frame.I have towed numerous Rear Wheel Drive cars this way, once a Rear Wheel Drive Toyota Corona station wagon fully loaded with stuff all the way from California to Florida. No problem at all.0
