correct generator 52 308
I realize this has been covered many times, but what is the correct generator for a 52 308?
The one I have installed is a Chrysler GDA 4801A, which works fine, but I would like to have a good working spare along when touring. I picked up a GCJ 4801A at a swap meet which "looks identical", however it is about 3/16" shorter in length so it will not fit on the mounting bracket.

I would have to shorten the generator mounting bracket on the car, which could be done. But in the event I have a failure on the road, it would be nice to have an identical unit to install with no spacers to worry about.Dave0
