Rear Seat Belts - 3-pt Shoulder Belts

I've read through some of the discussions from a few years back regarding installing seat belts. We are looking to install shoulder belts front and back in our '53 Hornet sedan. I think the front belts are pretty straight forward. I'm curious as to whether anyone has successfully installed shoulder belts in the rear seats and if so, would you share your experiences? There isn't a lot of room between the rear passenger windows and the read window. Has anyone ever mounted the retractors in the trunk and then up through the rear hat rack over the shoulder? Opinions are more than welcomed!

Thanks,
shane

I have 3 pt belts in front and lap belts in rear and would not put 3 pt in rear for several reasons. These are obvious so I won't list them. Put in a third taillight or rear hazard lights; seems better 'odds' to me~~

Post photos if you do install; believe you would have to go into the trunk since the angle appears wrong to go to the post.

edit: Others note that if someone extremely short legged drives a car with 3 pt in front, cushions will be needed since the retractor blocks the seat from moving to very front.
