1954 Hornet, availability of body panels
I am getting ready for a repaint of my '54 Hornet. The only rust on the car is the lip over the rear wheel. The opening is relatively flat front to back with a protruding ridge at the edge. The fender skirt fits below. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes a weld in panel to repair this area. See the attached photo for the rust damage, the chrome strip just above the damage has been removed. Thank you.

No one makes that panel. To create a repair panel cut out a piece of ~ 18 gauge steel to fit repair area. The wheel well profile can be created using a piece of pipe and body hammer. Good luck.0

I am starting to see rust cracks from behind the paint in this area on my 54 as well... This will definitely need some attention at some point...0
