Help Needed In Identifying an Essex Frame
A fellow in Kansas has a frame in his field, which he's been told fits an "Essex". He'd love to know what it fits, and if anyone needs it.
He posted some photos on Craigslist: http://ksu.craigslist.org/pts/5642589636.html
Evidently the frame was used for a farm vehicle so has some modifications. These may include the axles, which are apparently GM. Of course, the entire frame may be GM, and the part about the Essex was an old wives tale. I don't recall where (on the frame) Hudson would have stamped the serial number.
He has posted this on the AACA forum. I will monitor this discussion, and report any information back to hi via the AACA dorum.
