1930 Dover Express
I recently found a 1930 Dover Express. The vehicle is unrestored ( completely dismantled ) its all there. Just wondering what it would be worth both as is and what it would be worth fully restored. I have found very limited info on this vehicle. I do believe that they made 1,066 Dover Express but not sure how many were just the Express model. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

See Don Butler's The History of Hudson, pages 127, 128, 135. He explains the differences & what was available.
We have at least 1 restored and another on the way here in New Zealand.
The US Postal Service is reputed to have run a fleet back in the day.
It's a rare vehicle & well worth restoring.
I know nothing about US values..
Remember there is a lot of parts common to both Dover & Essex of the same vintage..
Good luck in your efforts,

Rarity does not necessarily translate to value, but in this case you do have a very rare vehicle (see post above). Certainly, if you don't want to risk spending more for restoration than you might realize from selling it, you would probably be able to sell it to someone wanting to restore it.
So few have been sold (like, maybe 2!) in recent years, that there is no accurate way of gauging value.
