I don't know how the 39 ones fit up but it must be easy as they are highly sought after to replace the smaller earlier ones.0

AFAIK 37/8/9 are all the same steering box.Re the stripped pitman arm threads, it may be possible to have that area built up with weld and rethreaded. Alternatively have the the thread turned off and remade 1/16" smallerRunning a die over the threads can sometimes improve the situation, but ideally you need one of the thread reclaim 2 part dies.The seals on these boxes are very basic and aren't too hard to replicate.0

Took it to a machine shop and they rethreaded it so it Aok now. Thanks for the comebacks0
