1915 Essex Doors

I picked up these doors yesterday, the owner said they came off of a 1915 Essex. I was wondering if anyone can confirm that the doors are from an Essex. Also do they have any value? Thank you

They cant be off a 1915 Essex.  Essex was not around until 1919.

    Jay G is correct

  • I think I found the Essex that my doors go to. It is a 1920, my doors are the same as far as straight edge on one side of the bottom and curved at the other side of the bottom, also the way it is curved under the window.

That's a 1920 Hudson.  Possibly the same body was used on Essex.

The car in the photo is a 1920 Hudson model O 4-passenger coupe.  Its door seems to have 4 hinges, while yours have 3.  However, several manufacturers made 4-passenger coupes in those days, you maybe you are on to something.

The doors are similar to the ones on my 17 Hudson.
  • Thank you VERY much! The guy I bought them from said they came off of his 1915 Essex but maybe it was a 1915 Hudson.

Well, here is a 1915 Hudson coupe.  image

Then, too, it might have been from a 4-door, coach, or limousine.
  • Thank you very much! Seems the coupes are the only one with a curve on one side.
