33kc, you didn't mean the dovetails, did you? If you did, the general design was used throughout the industry and you may be able to adapt a GM, Ford, etc. one to your car. (Or, not!)
Here are some on Ebay but they're GM: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1935-1955-Chevy-Olds-Buick-Pontiac-Cadillac-GMC-door-jamb-wedges-Latch-Lot-2-/381733634034?hash=item58e118fff2:g:FV4AAOSw-itXrUfj&vxp=mtr
Here is a catalog with Ford repro's: http://www.macsautoparts.com/ford_mercury_early/interior-parts-and-trim/door/door-locks-and-latch.html
If it's the OTHER (rusty) part you seek, I guess you could use the old tried-and-true method and shoot an e-mail out to some of the folks who advertise used parts in the back of the WTN. Include a photo and some dimensions. They may have an old rusty parts car in the field, or the strike plate may be sitting in a huge pile of used stuff in their barn. Chances are, it fits several years of Hudson. With a photo in hand, they could identify it.

Thanks Jon B . Yes the dove tails. The other makes hole centers are off, so other than making from scratch which would involve solid material machined. Here's the dimensions.0
