6 volt tachometer

Anyone know of a source for a 6 volt tach?  0-4 or 5000 hould be enough range for a 308 I would think

I believe they can custom make a 6 cylinder gauge

You can find 6 volt ones but finding one for a 6 cylinder engine is harder !!!!. 4: yes; 8: yes; 6: no and most have a 3500 RPM limit.

Good luck; what you need is a SUN w/ a rebuilt 6 volt + sending unit. Harder~~~

If you find a sun transmitter the voltage probably won't matter since you'll most likely have to convert it to solid state. When they do the conversion they can make a 12v unit into 6v to work with the right head.  Williamson's Instruments (http://www.williamsons.com/Tachometers.php) can do the conversions.
