Post pics of your Interior

So lets see those interiors!

Been searching over the net and not finding many pics of Hudsons inside.

Im starting a 49 Hudson build. Part of it will be totally redoing the interior. - carpets, headliner, seats, doors etc.

So i would love to see everyones pride and joys inside.

The pictures are of a Commodore.   Supers did not have the stainless piece that the ash tray is fitted.

Picture of the interior of my '49 Super 6 Brougham.
  • Nice.

Di they come out with rubber mats originally?

Also anouther odd questions. the lights, wipers, cigar lighter etc. are they supposed to be chrome or plastic knobs? I have 2 chrome and one plastic. looks a bit miss matched odd ball.

    Nice clean interior.
Not sure i want to go lighter color seats. Drink spills etc and the car will be driver not so much a show car. Always removing drink stains is a pain  (been there).  What can i say have clumsy friends. And if i do weddings those buggers always seem to spill.

48 and 49 Hudson's had large rubber mats in the front and carpet for the rear seats. Both Supers and Commodores. They were a different color in each model. Green-gray for Supers and Taupe for the Commodores Unfortunately nobody has been able to reproduce the rubber mats for the front. The only choice is to have a carpet in both the front and back.

Regarding the rubber mats, doesn't Doug Wildrick make them?  At least, he makes the ones with the "Hudson Built Steel Body" raised lettering.  I believe his are black, though....
