Rear Axle Transplant into Pre-Stepdown Hudsons
A few months ago I mentioned that Gus Souza had given me some technical information on transplanting a Plymouth Satellite rear axle into a 1934-47 Hudson or Terraplane. I said that anyone interested in this subject could contact me for the information.
I have only just now finished transcribing Gus' hand-written notes into my computer's word processor. So if anyone is interested in getting a few more MPH out of his / her earlier Hudson, please contact me and I'll e-mail you this info. E-mail me at XXXdetailed@verizon.net (drop the XXX).
I am aware that there may be much readily available rear axles (Satellites are now collector cars themselves, and parts are becoming scarcer). Still, you may find this to be of interest.
