Snap Rebuilders
Did anyone purchase the starters that Snap Rebuilders offered for Hudsons in 2014? I just went to their website and tell only have two starters listed for sale, one for Dodge and one for Willys Jeep. I'd like to see if they are still making the Nippon Starters that were discussed on this forum in 2014

i have not installed it yet because still using the Mopar 318 Starters that I converted. I wanted to ensure I had one in case one of the Mopar's fail.
However, there is another Forum Member located near 'Snap' that built the original starter for his Hudson. He then suggested to 'Snap' to build more Starters.....I know .Snap made some design improvements from the first starte,r but wouldnt think they sold all of them because a little pricy with high quality Nipentenso parts.

I had them do one for a standard shift application. A local shop actually does the build for them. I tried it and
it sounded as if it was tearing up the flywheel. Sent it back.
I ones they have for sale is for hydramatic application.Terry A. Pittman
