28-29 Hudson phaetons

The two were owned by Customs and Classics and were basket cases. One was not complete enough to be called a car. Perhaps not even a parts car. The owner said they were 29's but I question that. The one that is in the final stages of restoration was a clean one owner that the builder has had for 50 years. It is not a duel cowl but it is a long wheel base car. I have known the car for about 30 years or so. The builder retired as a restorer for the star's in Los Vegas about five or so years ago and has been building his private collection since then. My estimate is that he has 30 clean original or restored cars and an undetermined stock of clean builders. He said that he was finishing up the hubcaps that he made for the wire wheels and should have the car out soon.0
