Jeremy Dutra
Hello-
I have always been fascinated by classic cars. Although my grandfather was a GM guy, my interest always seemed to gravitate to the "orphan" brands. My wife and I finally decided to bite the bullet and are in the process of finalizing the purchase of a 1952 Hudson Hornet Sedan. I fortunately found this forum and have been pouring over the wealth of knowledge collected here. I look forward to joining this community.
Regards,
Jeremy

Jeremy-Well, we look forward to having you! Welcome to the craziness. Please post pics of your Hornet when you finalize the deal. We all love pics. If you haven't already, you might want to consider joining the Hudson Essex Terraplane (HET) club.0

Yeah, let us know where you are. Local chapters of the Hudson club are always having get-togethers and you would probably enjoy attending one, even if you weren't ready to join. Great places to tap into the Hudson "network", and maybe find a needed part, or some valuable technical advice.

Aha! You're smack dab in our CBC (Chesapeake Bay Chapter) territory! We're a fairly active chapter (but you wouldn't know it from our website, whose webmaster --me!-- has been neglecting his duties lately. http://www.cbc.hetclub.org/ Our chapter newsletter editor does a better job, and I'd like to e-mail you her latest issue. (In the spirit of fairness, there is another chapter just west of us, the Tri-State Mountain Roads, which is pretty active as well) And one of our Club's top-notch Hudson mechanics, Paul O'Malley, lives just beyond the WV line, should you ever need mechanical help on your new Hornet.
